Hippocampus Beach Resort offers 18 rooms in three categories: Deluxe Beachfront, Superior Garden, and Standard. The Deluxe Beachfront rooms are located directly on the beach, with options for twin or double beds. Superior Garden rooms have garden views, while Standard rooms are smaller and face the garden. All rooms include air conditioning, mini-bars, and private bathrooms with hot showers. Upstairs rooms feature larger verandas with better views.

The resort's bar and restaurant serve European, American, and Asian cuisine. The bar includes a beer garden near the dive shop, beachfront tables, and an upstairs dining area for private events. Devocean Divers, the on-site 5-Star PADI dive shop, offers trips to Monad Shoal for thresher shark sightings. Dive packages include boat transport, weights, tanks, and equipment rinsing. Other activities include stand-up paddling, snorkeling tours, and visits to Kalanggaman Island (1 hour 45 minutes by boat).

The resort is on Bounty Beach, Malapascua Island, 100 km from Ormoc. From Cebu Mactan Airport, take a taxi to the North bus terminal, then a bus or van to Maya Port (3-4 hours). A private boat transfer from Maya lands directly on the beach. Nearby landmarks include Logon Beach (0.5 km) and Malapascua Lighthouse (2 km).

The property has three buildings housing room categories, a garden with rescued Nicobar pigeons, and a kitesurfing shop. The beachfront includes white sand, palm trees, sun loungers, and hammocks. The dive rinse area is near the front, and the bar has a beer garden with live music. Bamboo decor and efficient lighting enhance the relaxed atmosphere.
